Deze cd is de muzikale impressie van elf schilderijen van bekende Belgische en internationale artiesten, die ieder op hun manier een belangrijke stroming in de schilderkunst vertegenwoordigen: Kandinsky, Escher, Spilliaert, Ensor, Delvaux, Klee, Picasso, Klimt, Mucha, Magritte en Schiele. Iedere compositie probeert de eigen atmosfeer, de kleurencombinatie en de symboliek van het schilderij te vatten. De titels van de nummers verwijzen naar de respectieve schilderijen.
This cd is the musical impression of eleven paintings, made by famous Belgian and international artists, who represented important tendencies during the last century: Kandinsky, Escher, Spilliaert, Ensor, Delvaux, Klee, Picasso, Klimt, Mucha, Magritte and Schiele. Every composition tries to capture the particular atmosphere, the combination of colours and the symbolic meaning of the painting involved. The titles of the songs refer to these of the respective works of art.
Ce cd est l’ impression musicale d’ onze tableaux d’artistes connus, belges et internationaux. Chaque tableau représente un courant important dans la peinture. Chaque composition essaie de représenter l’atmosphère identique, la composition des couleurs et le symbolique de la peinture. Les titres des chansons se réfèrent aux peintures respectives.
